Levi’s House Women’s Ministry (LHWM) is a Christian based program that specializes in drug and alcohol, Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment and Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and mental health co-occurring disorders. We believe that through a Christ centered 12-step program, that each individual has the power to recover. We provide a safe environment for the restructuring of a productive, self-sufficient life without the use of drugs and alcohol.  

               Our vision is to provide a level of counseling and care that will allow everyone to grow spiritually and learn to maintain a sober life. We strive to help everyone reconnect with family and learn to lead others to Christ and recovery.

​               We are a work program where each individual will be allowed to work off the intake fees if necessary. Levi’s House Women’s Ministry will outsource scholarships or help within the community for those who cannot afford treatment for SUD.

SUPPORTIVE PROCESS

LHWM uses evidence based programs and adheres to the standards of the following programs. ASAM - American Society of Addiction Medication, GARR - Georgia Association of Recovery Residences and NARR – National Association of Recovery Residences. We are a certified GARR program, and we adhere to all guidelines of the American Society of Addiction Medicine ASAM and NARR associations including but not limited to the NARR code of ethics. We meet the criteria for a level 3 Residential Inpatient facility through the GARR standards.

 

MAT – Medicated Assisted Treatment is offered here at Levi’s House. We sub out for the treatment of MAT using Avita and Medlink. We allow the use of any of the following: Vivitrol, Sublocade, Brixadi. We do not allow the use of any narcotics in the program. When new clients enter, the facility covers the cost of the appointment ($40) and the first injection ($100).  This opportunity is given to those who come in without insurance. An estimated 85% of individuals entering treatment do not have insurance. We do work with them to get them insured as quickly as possible.

 

LHWM does not accept children, but we do offer services to mothers who are both pregnant and postpartum. Pregnant and postpartum women that enter the facility with no insurance are snt immediately to receive medical care. The facility will cover the cost ($40) of the first visit as well as any necessary medications from the first visit and any necessary MAT treatment for SUD will be covered by the facility as well.

LHWM receives mandated individuals from all of the criminal justice systems.

 

We are under the supervision of the Department of Community Supervision. Officers do scheduled and random visits to the facility to check in on the individuals who are on probation, parole, pre-trial or any other forms of supervision. We also take individuals coming straight out of the criminal justice system who are seeking a higher level of care upon release.

 

Levi’s House provides Naloxone overdose reversal kits in each area of the facility. Each employee, owner or volunteer must be trained and certified in the application of Naloxone in case of an emergency situation. We partner with Georgia Overdose Prevention for yearly training.

 

Medication for mental health must be prescribed by a provider outside of the facility. Medication for mental health is allowed and is monitored by staff. Levi’s House does not allow medication if it needs to be administered by someone other than the resident. We are not a medical facility.

 

Church of Living Water pastor, Cody Montgomery, is the director and owner of Levi’s House along with his wife Jessica who is the director of the LHWM program.  Residents will not only have Christian Counseling, but they will be immersed in a loving Christian atmosphere. Program participants are required to attend church twice a week. Participants are also required to attend Recovery Through Christ once a week. Recovery Through Christ is a 12-step Christ centered program of recovery.

 

             Levi’s House Women’s Ministry will have therapeutic counseling with a Christian Counselor and CAC Tina Munson. She will provide daily classes for each resident and will provide individual sessions with each client. We also provide family sessions and marital sessions for those who wish to participate in the recovery of their loved ones.

GOAL

Levi’s House LLC will provide comprehensive residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation for men and women struggling with SUD.

 

OBJECTIVES

1. Teach a way of life to help residents to remain free of all addictive substances and prevent the reoccurrence of SUD.

2. Understand that each resident’s experiences are a combination of physical, psychological, and social impairment and approach the problem with an understanding of the total person. This includes but is not limited to mental health diagnosis.

3. Provide a therapeutic environment for each resident by recognizing and respecting the individuality of each person.

4. Create structured individualized recovery plans based on the specific needs of the individual by implementing all available resources.

5. Provide continuing education for all staff. This includes monthly GARR zoom call for training as well as in person yearly training. All Staff will be NARCAN trained as well as CPR

6. Determine the needs of the community Levi’s House LLC serves so that we can provide community service throughout the community we reside in.

7. Be aware of current therapy modalities.

8. Provide outsourcing for MAT treatment that includes any injectable MAT treatment.

The entry fee for Levi’s House Women’s Ministry is $1000. The weekly fee is $250. The entry fee covers the cost of new bedding, all books and materials for the year, one on one counseling sessions with our CAC, initial food and supplies as well as any necessary transportation to and from doctors/necessary appointments for the first month.

 

             Each client will have 30 days to obtain employment. Once they have employment, they will then be responsible for their own food and supplies as well as paying for transportation costs. The $250 per week will cover rent which is all inclusive (Power, Wi-Fi, water etc.)
